Dear Colleagues and friends of the WOFAPS family around the world,
The WOFAPS Executive Committee is deeply disturbed and saddened by the start of the war in Ukraine. We would like to express our sympathy to the people who are affected by this tragedy. It is WOFAPS’ mission to support pediatric surgical care and provide help and guidance to colleagues in pediatric surgery.
WOFAPS Executive and Save A Child Global have agreed to work together to enable help for affected children and their families. These coordinated activities rely mostly on the expertise of volunteers in the field of trauma and global surgery.
Save A Child – Providing Hope For Children
Furthermore, WOFAPS will also get in contact directly with our colleagues in the war zone to discuss and offer help.
It is our hope that the current conflict ends immediately with no further lives lost and children injured.
