Dear friends, pediatric surgeons worldwide, it was definitely an unprecedented and challenging year for all of us. Still, as the Christmas spirit and the new year is approaching, we have great hopes for the upcoming year. The medical and nursing staff around the world has shown extreme dedication and efforts facing severe challenges. This has helped to save lives and ease the pain.
Despite the difficulties, the WOFAPS succeeded in continuing its role in spreading knowledge and education in pediatric surgery throughout the world with series of online webinars and workshops given by renowned experts in pediatric surgery. These events were attended by a large audience from different parts of the world. The WOFAPS board members worked as a wonderful team to keep the federation’s mission during this difficult time.
As an or organization, we at WOFAPS feel fortunate to have people like you in our team, either as affiliate organization or as individual members, This has largely helped the WOFAPS to maintain its role despite the challenges.
Please stay safe. Wishing you and your family an extra measure of comfort, joy and hope this holiday season. I am sure that with the start of the new year, there will be bright sunshine, with new hopes for peace, health and prosperity all over the world.
