WOFAPS President 2022 New Year Greeting

Dear friends and colleagues, Pediatric surgeons and members of pediatric surgery associations around the world. It gives me great pleasure, on behalf of the executive board of the WOFAPS to wish you health and happiness and continued success in our sacred mission to serve and support children with surgical disease to have less pain and enjoy normal life.

It is due to the excellent research and hard work of many pediatric surgeons around the world that we have a better understanding of surgical diseases of children and we are more able to treat their ailments in a better way to ease pain and save lives.

During the past year, WOFAPS continued its educational role with a series of WOFAPS online meeting, inviting experts in our specialty and connecting pediatric surgeons around the globe. For the upcoming year, 2022, we are working hard in preparing the 7th WOFAPS World Congress in Prague Czech Republic 12-15 October. It will be a great opportunity to meet in person, to exchange knowledge and experience, and to present your work before the largest pediatric surgical community.

I hope to see many of you in Prague in October, and I hope the next year will be full of health, happiness and success for all pediatric surgeons around the globe.
