As President of the Greek Association of Paediatric Surgeons and the 32nd Panhellenic Congress of Paediatric Surgery with International Participation, which will be held in Athens 4th-6th October 2019,

I have the honor to cordially invite you and members of your Association to attend the forthcoming Congress of our Association.

Among the main topics of the 32nd Congress which will cover all fields of Paediatric Surgery, especially serious and ambivalent neonatal, paediatric and adolescent issues, for which there are different approaches, “The battered child” is the main topic of the Congress.

A Clinical Colorectal Course and Workshop for Paediatric Surgeons will be held, with interest in some of the main topics of the Congress, i.e., Congenital Anorectal Malformations and Hirschsprung’s Disease. A team of distinguished surgeons led by Prof. Marc Levitt (OH, USA) will perform operations on selected patients, and those who join will have the opportunity to meet them and discuss in real-time practical issues on surgical treatment. Prof. Timothy Lee, Huston, Texas, USA and Prof. Stuart Hosie, München, Germany will be also medical coordinators of the Workshop.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, October 3 (morning+afternoon) and Friday, October 4, 2019 (morning) in the operating theaters of “Panagiotis & Aglaia Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital. A real-time interactive communication system will connect the OR with the hospital’s amphitheater, where the participants of the workshop will attend the operations. If you join both the Workshop and the Congress, there will be a discount, especially if you do an early registration (deadline: 31/08/2019).
