UEMS Accreditation: The 18th Annual Congress of the European Pediatric Surgeon’s Association is designed for a maximum of 18 European CME credits (ECMECs). The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. ECMECs are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA).

Currency: The official currency of Cyprus as a European Union member state is the euro (€). It was introduced in 2008. Most shops across the country accept international credit and debit cards. Cyprus has a widespread cash machine network.

Time Zone: Cyprus is in the Eastern European Time Zone (GMT+2 hrs).

Visa Requirements: Visitors from non-EU countries must possess a passport valid for at least three months after the end of the meeting. Participants requiring a visa should apply immediately to the consular office or embassy of the Cyprus Republic in their country in order to avoid inconvenience. Please note that the visa application procedure can take some weeks.
